Alaska - 1882
Description
The British Steamer Alaska, 6932 tons,was built in 1881 at Glasgow,and was owned by Stephen B Guion of Liverpool.
On the 12th of September 1882, a fire broke out among Australian mails. 10 sacks of newspapers and two of letters were destroyed.
