‘Milano’ – 1893
Description
'Milano' was an Austrian steamer on a voyage from Miteovitch and Dalmatian ports for Trieste. Early on January 16th 1893, she struck rocks at the entrance to Pola Bay and foundered. The passengers and crew were all saved.
This cover carries a Pola 'Officially Sealed' label.
