Another hand drawn illustrated envelope addressed to the same Major Thornton as the previous item, but at a later date and to a different address. The picture shows a pastoral scene in winter, in marked contrast to the previous envelope. The stamp, a Victorian penny lilac, is cancelled with the Croydon duplex dated 16 February 1885.
