The museum is run by volunteers, and relies on entrance fees, donations, and sales from the shop to survive. The museum is a registered charity (charitable educational trust no. 277419 MGC Reg no. 927), and it is governed by trustees who are named below.

The World Heritage Site of Bath and the stunning countryside surrounding it is one of England's most beautiful places to visit. Bath, England, is a unique city; its hot springs, Roman Baths, splendid Abbey and Georgian stone crescents have attracted visitors for centuries. Set in rolling Somerset countryside, just over 100 miles west of London, it is a beautiful and unforgettable place to visit.

Open 6 days (closed Mondays) 11.30am-5pm. Open Bank Holidays.

Prior Park Gardens

18th century landscape garden created for Ralph Allen by Lancelot' Capability' Brown.
Open daily (except Tuesdays) 12am-5.30pm (or dusk if earlier). No car parking but there is a bus service to the gardens.
